FIMA, 50 YEARS AT THE SERVICE OF AGRICULTURE AND ITS PROFESSIONALS

Zaragoza, December 2013.-
FIMA (International Fair of Agricultural Machinery) will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2014, working side by side with the agricultural sector and, above all, acting as a stimulus and spur for professionals who, just like the show itself, have evolved and grown, to reach the leading position they now occupy in Europe.

THIS “GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY” SHOW WILL PUT ITS BEST FACE FORWARD
FIMA 2014 has already surpassed last year’s show in numbers of exhibitors and exhibition area. Demand continues to grow day after day, as does our work to provide the best service for all the companies that place their trust in this all important show.

Some remarkable figures:

- A surface area occupation of 130,000 square metres has already been confirmed.
- At the current time 1,200 exhibitors have confirmed their participation.

Added to these figures, is the large number of meetings, technical sessions, assemblies and seminars that are going to be staged during the Show, from 11-15 of February 2014, taking advantage of the enormous attraction of FIMA.

Prominent amongst these are the celebration of the National Congress on Rural Development and the ACCOE (Spanish Cereal and Oilseed Trade Association) meeting.

Another outstanding feature is the Technical Innovation Competition, open to exhibiting firms. The prestige of this competition has made its awards an international emblem of commercial quality and corporate image.

The competition establishes the following award categories:

a) Tractors, self-propelled machines and energy.
b) Driven machines (equipment to work the land, seeding and planting, fertilizing, crop protection and harvesting and post-harvesting machines ) and fixed and mobile installations (drying facilities, irrigation, etc.)
c) Agricultural management solutions.
